Week 15 - 04/20/2026 to 04/24/2026

Welcome to the fifteenth and final week of my internship under the New Smyrna Museum of History (NS MOH) at the University of Central Florida (UCF). In-between Friday and Monday, I scored a 64% for the first part of my second exam for CGS3269-0001 (Computer Architecture Concepts) for Section 1 (16 Weeks) on Sunday (April 19).

Monday (April 20) was the seventy-first day of my internship, and I dealt with a sore left upper-arm and eyelid. Because of that, I did metadata work for my entire shift and devised a new "scaling" technique for tracking page numbers that was extremely flawless.

Tuesday (April 21) was the seventy-second day of my internship, and I was very drowsy after taking two Benadryl tablets in four hours to help with the soreness. Because of that, I self-barred myself from operating the scanner and did more metadata work instead, alongside presentation work for the Spring 2026 Internship Showcase.

Wednesday (April 22) was the seventy-third day of my internship, and my soreness disappeared. Because of that, I did scan work at 4:45PM, taking over from Dylan Gilberg. I also watched a video of someone rage-quitting Dr. Saiful Khondaker's lecture from the day before, and it reminded me of when I took PHY2049-C001 (General Physics Using Calculus II) for Section C (12 Weeks) before dropping the course. By the way, that occurred before I switched majors and it's not hard to imagine an even more stressful Summer 2024 Semester.

Thursday (April 23) was the seventy-fourth day of my internship, and I drank part of a Blue Crush Celsius drink before my shift started. Because of that, I felt a bit light-headed and had to relax for a bit given the drink's high caffeine count. I did more metadata and presentation work, making sure that I could present my slides in three minutes. One interesting ad I noticed was on page two of the 7/16/1959 edition of 'The Pelican' that advertised insurance, 'W.L. Robertson' being the advertiser, as I am looking for a job with Alliant Insurance Services at this moment.

Friday (April 24) was the seventy-fifth and final day of my internship, and I presented with the other team members from 1:05PM to 1:25PM. All seemed to be good, and my internship officially came to an end. Here is a ranking of how important every UCF semester is to me, alongside why they are ranked in certain spots.

    1. Fall 2024 (First History (B.A.) Semester; Lot to Prove, Hurricane Milton)

    2. Summer 2024 (Last Aerospace Engineering (B.S.) Semester; Very Stressful, Failed Both Courses)

    3. Fall 2022 (First-Ever Semester; Took Math Launch)

    4. Spring 2023 (Second-Ever Semester; Took Calculus with Analytic Geometry 1)

    5. Spring 2025 (Second History (B.A.) Semester; Had to Continue Fall 2024 Success)

    6. Fall 2023 (Second Year at UCF; Failed Class for First Time)

    7. Spring 2026 (Last-Ever Semester; Graduated and Took HIS4150 - History and Historians)

    8. Spring 2024 (Second Spring Semester; First Attempt of EGN3310 - Engineering Analysis: Statics)

    9. Summer 2025 (Third Summer Semester; First Internship)

    10. Fall 2025 (Last Fall Semester; My HIS4150 Course Section got Cancelled)

    11. Summer 2023 (First Summer Semester; Only took GEPs.)

Have a good day and thank you for reading this blog for the last time.
